ESIC Applicable to establishments employing more than 10 employees in Maharashtra w.e.f. 01-10-2020

<p>Vide notification no. ESIS 2015/C.R.150/RAKAVI-2 on dated 29 September 2020, ESIC has been made applicable to establishments (shops, offices, warehouse, hotels, restaurants, transport establishments, cinemas & newspaper establishments) employing 10 or more persons currently or in any of the last 12 months, located in covered areas in the State of Maharashtra w.e.f. 1 October 2020. <br /> <br /> Earlier this limit was 20 or more employees in Maharashtra.</p>
