Annotation on Latest Amendment in Maharashtra Shops and Establishmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2018

<p>The Government of Maharashtra has recently notified the new rules to amend the Maharashtra Shops and Establishments Rules vide the Maharashtra Shops & Establishment (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2018. The revised rules have some material changes increasing the penalties for non compliance for medium or large entities but exempting smaller entities with less than 10 employees.</p>
